Wine Barn now has it’s own well!!
February 15, 2012Thanks to Alfred C. Haskell Water Wells, Orrington, the Warn Barn has it’s own well! It’s all part of the Wine Barn Expansion Project this Spring and Summer. Not quite big enough to accommodate wine making operations. They went down 185 feet and found four gallons of water a minute. Thanks Charlie Haskell and your crew!

Rudy Update!
February 7, 2012Rudy (Strawberry Wine) was transferred to the pallet tank last week. I measured the alcohol yesterday, and it is already at 10.5%. Rudy will stay in the pallet tank until the 1 March. From the pallet tank, Rudy will be racked into a 200 gallon FlexTank, where it will rest until mid June. Stay tuned for more Rudy updates!
White Wine Update
January 29, 2012By the Numbers, Serendipity, St. Pepin and Clairty have been racked and filtered in preparation for bottling, mid March. They will all be available on Maple Sunday, 25 March.
